Costa Rica is known for its beaches, and little more. But there’s a lot to explore in that corner of the World, and it’s one of those cheap travel deals where you get a lot for your money. Be aware of pickpockets and keep an eye out for your change and be careful when changing money outside of a reputable establishment, like an international changing firm or a bank. The people in Costa Rica and nice and welcoming, not at all like more “hardcore” south American countries, but there’s always some ill intended people.
